It the perfect ambiance with the big red truck that's sometimes parked outside the shop, and the paintings and maps inside. The creamery is like a normal ice cream place, you order at the cashier and they give you the ice cream. ”

“ I love the sizing names at this place! The smidge is the perfect serving size for a small taster size of a flavor. My favorite flavor from here is the Chocolate Sorbet - It's the perfect blend of intense fudgey chocolate, without being overly creamy or heavy since it's a sorbet. If you're undecided they do offer samples for you to try out their flavors before deciding; I also really enjoy their Mint Chip and I sometimes get that in a double smidge with the Chocolate Sorbet. There's some seating in the shop and the service is always very friendly, a great pit stop before or after getting dinner in the area! ”

“ TLDR: A cute little ice cream shop with homemade ice cream made on the premises. Friendly energetic service, cozy seating with dark wood paneling and local art on the walls. Good stuff! Our Visit Scan over the regular and special flavors in the front window, or on the menu inside. Can't decide? The happy servers will gladly provide samples served up on cute little metal spoons. You'll find more than the usual sizes of ice cream here.. If you feel like having just a tiny bit of ice cream, they offer a "smidge" which is a cute mini-sized cup or mini-waffle cone that is about half the size of a normal single scoop serving. The single scoop serving is a good sized scoop for sure. Want two flavors? The double smidge is the way to go for that. That said, my favorite flavor here is the Mint Chip, so I upsized it to the standard single scoop size to split between us. Yum! We've been here many times. We try to pop in here anytime we are near 9th and Irving! Getting Here: Easy access via the N Judah Light Rail, and surprisingly easy parking on a Friday evening. A short walk over from Golden Gate Park too, with plenty of other restaurants around to have a meal before you come here for dessert. =) ”

“ Came by for a little sweet treat and ordered a double smidge because I wanted both a classic strawberry and one of the seasonal flavors that was mango coconut sticky rice. The sticky rice flavor didnt have the ratios of mango to stick rice that I was hoping for, but the strawberry was delicious. The scoops I got for double smidge were much larger than I was expecting, and I'm very thankful to the person who served me for being so friendly and generous! As always, a great local neighborhood business to come support, it was busy as expected on a warm weekend afternoon, but service was quick and I elected to walk to the park with my cone since the benches outside were all filled. ”

“ I came on a weekday afternoon so it was fairly empty. I sampled a couple flavors before going with the seasonal pumpkin cheesecake and mint chip. The mint chip was the best of the two. The flavor is strong with fresh mint. A true mint flavor too, not the green toothpaste icky mint. I quite enjoyed this one. The pumpkin cheesecake was fine upon sampling, but when having the scoop, it was actually very grainy and a bit crumbly. It didn't have that smooth, creamy ice cream texture as the mint chip. It is more pumpkin than cheesecake, in my opinion. Overall, it was fine. I don't think I would ever go out of my way to get it, but wouldn't say no if passing the area and cracking ice cream. ”
